The Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program helps people with disabilities or health conditions start businesses in rural Manitoba.

Community Futures offices in Manitoba provide:

  • One-to-One Business Consultation
    • If you are planning to start a business or already have a business, we can help. We can meet with you to discuss your business needs.
  • Business Plan Development
    • We can assist you with creating your business plan.
  • Business Resources
    • We can direct you to available resources and business training within our offices or in the community.
  • Access to Repayable Loans for Viable Businesses
    • Community Futures organizations are a source for small and medium sized business loans. Loans up to $150,000 are available for viable businesses.

Community Futures organizations have professional staff in 16 offices throughout rural Manitoba. Led by local boards of directors who volunteer their time, energy and skills, Community Futures helps communities find ways to improve, grow and become better places to live and do business in.

Eligibility

Individuals with a disability or health condition starting a new viable business or expanding an existing business outside the City of Winnipeg are eligible for the rural Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program.
